How good is good enough? It is one of the most pressing questions people wrestle with, and Jesus addresses it directly in the Sermon on the Mount. He did not come to abolish the Old Testament law but to fulfill it completely, bringing it to its full and intended meaning. True righteousness cannot be earned through outward performance or religious routine. No amount of rule-following can produce what only God can place within a person. Through faith in Jesus Christ, God writes His law on our hearts by the power of the Holy Spirit, transforming us from the inside out. The goal is not perfection on our own terms. It is surrender to the One who is already perfect.
