Women’s Missionary Union (WMU)
September is the beginning of a new year for WMU, (Woman’s Missionary Union) at Kure Beach First Baptist Church. The women enjoyed a wonderful summer of beach fun and church activities that included hosting youth group retreats. Praise the Lord for the many blessings that come from Him as we serve others in His name!
WMU is a group of women led by the Holy Spirit to serve our church, community, and missionaries. “All For You” is the WMU emphasis for 2015-2016. It calls each of us in the WMU family to re-evaluate our personal level of commitment to Christ and His mission; being called to Surrender, Sacrifice, and Serve. We are excited about this year as we prayerfully move forward with outreach projects and serve where there is a need. We have been truly called by God to Surrender completely by denying oneself, to Sacrifice willingly by taking up our cross, and to Serve intentionally by following Christ into our community, state and world.
The Jesus ladies of KBFBC would love for you to join as we serve our Lord and Savior in humbleness and humility, fun, laughter and good food to glorify God and further His Kingdom. We invite you to check out our church calendar for meetings, upcoming events and mission projects. You may contact Cindy Williams through our church website if you would like more information.
“Then He called the crowd to Him along with His disciples and said: ‘If anyone would come after Me, he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow Me’.” Mark 8:34.
